Hello, my name is Anja and I am The Wedding Painter from Hamburg.
Born in Dresden, I grew up in Germany, Great Britain and Hong Kong. Living abroad for over a decade I discovered my love for the diversity of cultures and people.
With pen and paper in hand, I have been drawing all my impressions since childhood, decorarting my parents fridge and walls. After many commissions and illustrated books as a teenager, I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Design at Goldsmiths University in London and worked in international companies in design and marketing.
At the same time I pursued my passion to be an artist and created several collections of ‘Positive Art’ in the form ob abstract resin art. I depicted stories of optimism, inner strength and the wonders of life.
Nowadays I have dedicated myself to the fine art of oil painting, using the finest brushstrokes to create paintings that stand the test of time. With my passion for fine details and radiant brilliance of colours, I tell the most wonderful stories of everlasting love.
I have had many successes to date, with international exhibitions in prestigious galleries around the world, but what I am most proud of is my marriage to my beloved husband! My favourite memory is our wedding day – and that’s why ‘love’ is the most beautiful topic in the world for me!
